Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., and a global provider of conveyance solutions and services has an opening for an Equipment Maintenance Technician in its assembly manufacturing plant. Equipment Maintenance Technicians are responsible for preventative and predictive maintenance of our state-of-the-art Extrusion Facility, Custom Automation and support equipment. Other tasks include troubleshooting and repair as well as recommending/implementing upgrades to production equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on state-of-the-art Pneumatic/Hydraulic and Electronic Aux. equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Manage service of trucks and warehouse fleet.
  • Manage parts and supplies for daily task and repairs.
  • Recommend and implement upgrades to production equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must have experience in the mechanical field with high voltage electrical skills and/or hydraulics and/or pneumatics and/or electronics.
  • Must be able to perform the essential job requirements identified in the Functional Job description, including the ability to lift and assemble machine components, 50 pound maximum, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends on a rotating schedule.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals and varying technical ability levels
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in basic computer programs (E-mail, Microsoft Office, Etc.).
  • Ability to operate machine tools, such as a drill press, bench grinder, band saw
  • Self-managed and motivated individual who can work well within a team environment.
  • Provide and understand the value of excellent customer service.

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a manufacturing field.
  • Trade school education.
  • 5+ years' experience in the repair of automated machinery.
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
  • Previous plastics manufacturing experience.
