This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you'll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. Work Location: Overland Park, KS Student Level: Undergraduate or Graduate, Class of 2025 OR 2026 Finance at T-Mobile offers a fast-paced and team-focused environment that will grow your Finance & leadership skills as you help craft the success of the Un-carrier. You will work across the different functions at T-Mobile & make a difference in how we do business. The intern will have the opportunity to learn forecasting and modeling techniques supporting T-Mobiles Customer retention and churn (customer loss rate) analytics needed to drive results. - Through use of various data analysis techniques, partner with internal organizations (Finance, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, etc.) to help generate forecasts and budgets.
- Develop, maintain, and refine Excel and SQL based models.
- Build, maintain and enhance forward-facing PowerBI-based tools for use by leaders to view, analyze and modify information.
- Assist with development of financial presentations to executive leadership.
- Develop a deep understanding of how T-Mobile builds Customer Churn forecasts and track retention program performance and ROI.
- Assist with quality assurance testing of models and deliverables.
- Support process documentation of customer loss rate modeling, processes, and procedures.
- Interact with cross functional teams in various disciplines supported by the team (Sales, Marketing, Customer Care and Network Operations) as well as other teams in the finance organization.
- Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors/Master's program in Finance, Accounting, or general business.
- Excellent Microsoft Office Suite Skills and willingness to learn SQL and PowerBI
- Outstanding data analysis, organizational, and prioritization skills with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, work ethic, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity
- Basic understanding of finance and accounting disciplines - cash flows, balance sheets, etc.

Relocation may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location. Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour.
