• The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support.

• Perform high-quality diagnostic procedures and other duties as assigned.
• Ensure the accuracy of ordered exams and compliance with workflow per guidelines and policy.
• Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
• Assist Radiologists and other health care practitioners with invasive procedures.
• Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam.
• Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with regulations and ensure patient and employee safety.
• Evaluate images for technical quality, and exposure.

Job Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Registered by the ARRT
• CPR/BLS Certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Previous radiology experience
