Job Description

The Family Support Provider (Certified Engagement Associate) should have lived experience. The Parent, Grandparent, or Guardian's lived experience is having a child/grandchild/or family member whom you have raised with a mental health diagnosis. You would assist our parents/grandparents/guardians navigate systems in the community and access and utilize services, etc you may have for your child. This is a community based position, meeting parents in the setting most comfortable for them. Must have your own reliable transportation.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Degree or GED.

  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work with multicultural staff and clientele.

  • Must have personal lived experience with recovery from a behavioral health disorder and/or substance use disorder

  • Must have a CPS credential (Certified Peer Specialist or other Certification as required by assigned program) through the Missouri Credentialing Board, or obtain CPS credential within 90 days of the hiring date.

  • Certification must be kept current to maintain assignment to this position.

  • Must have reliable transportation

Preferred:

  • Two to four years of direct Behavioral Health experience in coaching, support and behavioral intervention and working on interdisciplinary team.

  • Active Missouri Certified Peer Specialists Credentials
