JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications at Penn State seeks outstanding candidates, with exemplary credentials in journalism to join us for a professional-in-residence program for Spring 2025. Professionals-in-residence will teach and mentor our students and interact with faculty across the University. Individuals should bring at least 10 years' current, relevant industry experience and a desire to immerse themselves in the Bellisario College and Penn State, working with students and faculty in classes and on special projects.

The University Park Campus is set in State College, a University town located in the heart of central Pennsylvania. Qualified candidates should submit a letter describing interest, a resume outlining background and experience, and the names of three to five references.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
