Halff has an open position for a Senior Structural / Building Engineer, with a Texas PE License, to be a Senior Project Manager on our growing Structural team based out of our Fort Worth, TX location. This position is for an individual with at least 8 years of experience in Structural / Building Engineering interested in working on vertical construction building design projects. Structural engineering design and assessment includes a full range of services for horizontal and vertical construction projects. Our licensed engineers pay meticulous attention to safety, serviceability, durability and design efficiency. Project types include buildings, bridges, foundations, retaining walls, hydraulic structures, oil and gas facilities, and marine structures using a variety of construction materials.

Senior Structural / Building Engineer (PE) - Senior Project Manager - Vertical Construction Responsibilities:
- Will design complete projects such as buildings, hydraulic structures, Civil Structures, and vehicular bridges
- Will manage production of construction drawings for own work
- Will review contractor submittals during construction
- Will manage project budgets
- Will coordinate effort with clients as well as in-house engineers and architects
- Will assist in training less experienced staff
- Will provide CAD assistance when necessary
Senior Structural / Building Engineer (PE) - Senior Project Manager - Vertical Construction Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- Master's Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree preferred
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Structural / Building Engineering with Vertical Construction, Bridge and Building Design
- PE License in Texas, or able and willing to obtain within 6 months of starting date
- Experience managing structural design and plan production
- MicroStation, Revit or AutoCAD training is a plus
