Machinist Batavia, NY

Machinist (job shop environment): Seeking individuals with the skills or are interested in learning the skills necessary to operate Manual & Automatic Grinding equipment. Mechanical aptitude and/or basic machine shop training is helpful. Training is available for the right candidate.

2nd or 3rd shift position training on first shift.

While performing the duties of this job, the Staff Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk or hear, use hands to pick-up, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The Staff Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The Staff Member may be required to work beyond normal business hours when necessary.

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.

PAY: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour while training on 1st shift plus shift differential once on 2nd or 3rd shift. Will pay more if experienced.
