Together, We Own it! Start your employee owner journey with Shorr Packaging. The Accounts Payable Clerk - Temporary position will support Shorr's corporate AP team. Responsibilities include: Responsible for capturing invoices every day in our AP Automation tool - Softco, approximately 200-500 a day Reviewing and requesting vendor statements Working through cash application issues with vendors Responding to vendor inquiries, including cash remittance details, short-pays and missing invoices Check printing 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday (subject to change) Processing trade invoices This temporary position is not benefits eligible. This temporary position is targeted to last until end of February and is in the office 5 days. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Proficient skills with Microsoft Office solutions including Excel, Outlook and Teams, Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels Self-directed and ability to manage area of responsibility with limited oversight. Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and under pressure Compensation The base pay range for this role is $22 - $23 per hour.
