We are seeking experienced, detaildriven professionals with a strong commitment to financial risk oversight and compliance excellence to join our team as the Risk and Compliance Manager.

This role is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of risk and compliance activities for the credit union, and the Risk Management department.

Key Job Functions:

  • Works in conjunction with the Director of Risk Management to develop, implement, and maintain the risk and compliance program for the credit union, including conducting risk and compliance reviews using industry best practices.
  • Identifies activities and practices that risk violating regulations and industry standards; works collaboratively with Senior Leaders, department managers, and employees to mitigate compliance risks.
  • Advises and supports business units in the establishment and execution of action plans to address risk and compliance deficiencies, finds, and/or recommendations of examiners, internal audits, and self-identified issues.
  • Reviews marketing materials, disclosures, and other Member communications subject to consumer protection regulations for compliance.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Five to eight years of similar or related experience. Prior experience in a financial institution is a plus.
  • A bachelor's degree, or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
  • A professional certification in Risk Management or Compliance is preferred.
  • Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs., as needed, and requires extended periods of sitting and/or standing and to be able to use PC, copier, scanner, fax, etc.

Compensation ranges are based on market data that enables Justice Federal Credit Union to remain competitive with other credit unions of similar asset size.
