Job Overview The Production Line Plumber Brazer assembles industrial piping systems used in industrial refrigeration equipment. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, careful workmanship, and a consistent commitment to safety, quality, and accurate installation. Responsibilities * Assemble copper and steel piping systems for industrial refrigeration equipment. * Measure, cut, fit, and prepare tubing and pipe according to specifications. * Braze refrigeration piping using proper techniques and established safety procedures. * Install valves, fittings, compressors, heat exchangers, and related components. * Read and follow mechanical drawings, piping layouts, and Bills of Material (BOMs). * Inspect completed work for leaks, accuracy, and proper installation. * Maintain a clean, organized work area and support continuous improvement activities. * Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards. Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent. * Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools. * Ability to read a tape measure accurately. * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in a manufacturing environment. Core Competencies: * Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. * Safety awareness and adherence to established procedures. * Ability to follow drawings, instructions, and production requirements. * Dependability and ability to work effectively as part of a production team. Preferences * Previous brazing experience. * HVAC or refrigeration experience. * Ability to read piping diagrams. * Industrial manufacturing experience. * Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Travel and Work Arrangements Requirements * This is a fully site-based production position. Travel is not anticipated. Ingersoll Rand Inc.
