Job Description

The Director, Corporate Card is responsible for developing, communicating and executing on a sustainable and scalable card strategy which will drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence of the Bank's Corporate Card business. The director's role oversees card sales, onboarding, portfolio growth, client experience, risk governance, and organizational efficiency. Director establishes and executes the long-term vision for Corporate Card solutions, including purchasing cards, travel and entertainment cards, virtual card programs, embedded payment capabilities, and emerging payment technologies.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You will develop and execute the corporate card strategy in alignment with business and Treasury objectives.
  • You will leverage industry knowledge to strengthen competitive positioning while managing risk.
  • You will lead sales initiatives that grow revenue and expand client relationships.
  • You will partner with bankers and treasury teams to overcome challenges and support growth.
  • You will drive profitability through spend growth, utilization, and client retention strategies.
  • You will optimize pricing, rebates, and revenue opportunities to enhance program performance.
  • You will analyze results, communicate key insights, and lead a high-performing team.
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of experience in corporate card and/or relevant consultant experience including leadership experience managing teams and strategic initiatives.

  • Expert industry expertise of corporate card, industry trends and competitor programs.
  • Advanced level of driving transformational change.
  • Advanced level of leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Practical knowledge of technology used to support card products and services.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and change management skills.
