Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a motivated and energetic person to join our Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team as System Administrator/Analytical Data expert at our Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) Headquarters facility in Torrance, CA. Howmet Aerospace is a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries. This position reports directly to the Global EHS Director and closely interacts with internal customers at the Corporate, BU and location levels to support the various EHS programs, projects, and initiatives to improve and promote proactive safety culture, as well as perform a variety of specialized and analytical duties in support of the EHS functions. Key Roles and Responsibilities include: * Developing, monitoring, and tracking various EHS metrics: Analyzing performance and engagement through identifying, and resolving observations and/or Injury Free events (quantity, type, severity, corrective actions, etc.), as well as managing Monthly / Quarterly / Annual targets and initiatives * Case management of injuries and incidents, both Health & Safety, and Environmental: Work with global site EHS manager throughout the investigative process: focusing on timely care (treatment, diagnostics, evaluations), follow up to ensure cases are reported (create alerts/notifications), and solutions resolution, interacting with all levels of operation (managers, supervisors, leads and employees). * Workers Compensation (WC) claims management: Monitoring effective handling of new and existing Workers Compensation claims by serving as a liaison with operations, HR, EHS, payroll, employee, TPAs (Third Party Administrator), attorneys and / or various clinics (tracking, monitoring, and follow-up). * Manages data collection and reporting of various EHS programs and metrics for tracking, compliance, reporting, and management reviews (Incidents, observations, training, audits, etc.) * Oversee Medical Assistant and Telemed programs for training, effective usage, and practices. * Audits: support compliance testing and self-assessment, including training, tracking, and reporting * Customer service - Monitor and respond to global EHS related inquiries and requests * Systems & Admin support - Maintenance and support of EHS SharePoint sites, systems, and tools * Other duties as assigned by the EHS director Key Roles and Responsibilities include:

Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills including written, verbal and listening skills
- Must be analytical and perform tasks with accuracy and verification
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information: Discrete, flexible, and cooperative.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and follow up in a timely manner.
- Highly organized and detail oriented; with excellent time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), MS SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI tool
Qualifications:
- Beneficial if worked in Information Technology covering functional system support
- Working knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Working knowledge of SQL, VBA, PowerBI
- Basic understanding of various EHS applications, processes, and technology, but not required
- 1-3 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment preferable, but not required.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000. This role may require minimal local travel.
