Interventional Pain Medicine Physician in Kennebunk, Maine

MaineHealth is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Pain Medicine Physician at its Kennebunk, Maine clinic.

Kennebunk Pain Care provides a multidisciplinary approach to evaluating and treating acute and chronic pain. The program combines interventional pain management, osteopathic manipulative medicine, and behavioral health to address the physical, functional, and psychological dimensions of pain. Together, these integrated services create a patient centered and comprehensive model of pain care.

  • The position will treat a diverse patient population, focusing on musculoskeletal problems, back and neck pain, and acute/chronic pain.
  • Opportunity to perform fluoro guided spinal injections and ultrasound guided injections.
  • Treat patients with painful and function-limiting musculoskeletal disorders of the spine, peripheral joints, and soft tissues such as sprains/strains, disc herniations, rheumatologic conditions, degenerative, developmental, acquired, and traumatic neuromuscular conditions of the upper and lower limbs, spinal cord, and brain.
  • Prescribe therapeutic exercise and other rehabilitation modalities.
  • Dedicated MA and Rad Tech support in the Procedure Suite and nursing support in the clinic.
  • Leadership opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Fellowship training must be completed by an ACGME accredited program
  • Active and unrestricted State of Maine medical license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Interventional Pain
  • Active and unrestricted DEA license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
