JavaScript/SQL Developer

NRI, Inc.
United States, Oklahoma, Oklahoma City
Sep 16, 2026

We are seeking a strong Junior to Intermediate JavaScript / SQL Developer to join an in-house development team building a new agricultural inspections application. This role is well suited for a developer with solid fundamentals who enjoys building user-facing applications, working with relational databases, and translating business requirements into reliable software solutions. The new application will allow field inspectors to complete electronic inspection forms, capture and validate data, store information in a SQL database, and generate PDF documents from collected information. The existing inspections platform is scheduled for decommissioning in Spring 2027, making this an important development initiative with an opportunity to contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and rollout of the replacement system.

Responsibilities
  • Convert approximately 70 existing fillable PDF inspection documents into structured, interactive HTML forms.
  • Develop clean, maintainable JavaScript functionality for form behavior, validation, data collection, and application workflows.
  • Integrate front-end functionality with SQL-based data storage.
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, with T-SQL experience preferred.
  • Develop and maintain responsive HTML/CSS user interfaces.
  • Use Jinja/Jinja2 templates to transform application data into PDF documents.
  • Troubleshoot application defects and participate in root-cause analysis.
  • Test and validate application functionality across forms, database operations, and document generation.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, enhancements, and ongoing application support.
  • Help maintain development documentation and application workflows.
  • Learn and apply additional technologies required by the project, including Python, Docker, Jinja, and Git/GitHub
