Job Summary The Paul M. Rady Department of Mechanical Engineering is seeking a research assistant to work as a chemistry and fluids lab technician. This role will work up to 5 hours per week for 20 weeks on the Colorado Mesa University campus in Grand Junction, CO. Who We Are The Schiffbauer complex fluids lab - affiliated with both CU Boulder and Colorado Mesa - carries out thermofluids and complex fluids/soft matter research on Colorado's Western Slope. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be Assist with fabrication and characterization of samples, developing new synthesis protocols, and performing other duties as assigned. What We Can Offer This temporary, part-time appointment will receive $30.00 per hour, or up to $3000 for total project participation. Be Boulder. What We Require Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, or an equivalent. What You Will Need Knowledge of basic chemistry and experimental measurement techniques, uncertainty quantification, and laboratory safety.
