**If hired, you must meet and maintain all eligibility requirements to qualify** Department/Function: Accounting Location: Support Center Reports to: Senior Director, Assistant Controller Job Level: 1 Full-Time Exempt Job Band: Specialist/Administrator Travel Requirements: Rarely GENERAL DESCRIPTION As a key member of the accounting department the Staff Accountant will be responsible for completing all accounting functions pertaining to utilities for 300+ corporate owned shops and assisting with other needs for our leased locations. This includes, but is not limited to, completing period-end close responsibilities, analyzing utility trends, processing utility and rent payments, corresponding with landlords and serving as the Potbelly liaison over relations between our corporate operated shops, utility providers, and third-party utility processor. This role will provide support for other aspects of the Occupancy function, as needed. FOCUS Responsibilities
