Position Title: CNC Machinist Wage: $25.00 - $30.00/hour Shift: 12 Hour Days Hours: 5:00pm - 5:00am (Monday - Sunday, Every Other Weekend Off) Our client in Spring, TX is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support the machining of precision fiberglass fittings and components. This position is responsible for CNC and manual machine setup, operation, and G-code programming, primarily on Haas CNC machines. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working an overnight shift with significant overtime. Apply now! CNC Machinist Responsibilities: - Machine fiberglass fittings, including male and female adapters and other precision components - Set up and operate CNC and manual machines - Retrieve, modify, and write NC programs for production and custom parts - Program and edit G-code as required - Perform complete machine setups, including tooling and offsets - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, manuals and specifications - Determine dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations and setup requirements - Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers and tape measures - Maintain adequate supplies of machine consumables - Follow all quality, environmental, safety, and OSHA requirements - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Requirements for CNC Machinist: - CNC machining experience with manual and/or CNC machines - Haas CNC experience - G-code programming experience - Proven setup experience - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tolerances - Ability to read calipers and micrometers - Ability to read and write in English or Spanish - Willingness to work overnight shifts with heavy overtime - Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail - Relevant machining experience required - Ability to frequently stand and walk - Ability to frequently use hands for precision work - Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs - Good hand-eye coordination IND999 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
