Position Title: Metal Handler Wage: $17.19/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm We are looking for a dependable Metal Handler to join a sheet metal manufacturing facility in Grinnell, IA. This position involves handling sheet metal materials and products, assisting with packing and shipping, and keeping the work area clean and organized. Metal Handler Responsibilities: - Load and unload sheet metal materials, parts, and finished products - Pack and unpack materials and products - Handle fiberglass insulation, glue, sealants, and paint products - Operate a forklift as needed - Perform general janitorial and housekeeping duties - Read and follow shop orders and measurements - Work safely and effectively in a unionized shop environment Requirements for Metal Handler: - Ability to read a tape measure and shop orders - Ability to read and understand English - Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 70 pounds - High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required - Forklift experience is a plus QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
