This is a Registered Nurse II vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience.

PT/Days

For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!
  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:

The MH Registered Nurse - Acute Care role provides high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. Collaborates, delegates, and communicates with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.

MH RN III: This level has the knowledge and skill to care for any patient in the area assigned and demonstrates excellent clinical practice characterized by the ability to quickly identify problems and solutions. This level must be able to assume preceptor responsibilities as needed. This care team member is proficient in their clinical role after 1 year as a RN II, must be in good standing with demonstration of meeting all RN II and RN III requirements. This advancement is not automatic, must apply for promotion to this level.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred. If no BSN or higher degree, must be matriculated into a BSN program or have a national certification.
  2. Licensure/Certification: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Other certifications may be required specific to area of practice or in accordance with Department guidelines.
  3. Experience: Must be an RN II for at least 1 year.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Must apply for this level of practice and must achieve required points as documented on the Clinical Advancement Track Worksheet.
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A

The pay range for this position is $40.06to $54.20 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
