Reports to: Sr. Sewing Supervisor

Supervises: N/A

Summary Statement: Under the general supervision of the Sr. Sewing Supervisor, the person in this position packages various products following all established work and safety procedures.

Essential Job Functions

• Build boxes for product to be packaged.
• Prepare product for packaging as required for the product being packaged.
• Package product in boxes, assuring correct bundles are packaged.
• Label and seal boxes full boxes.
• Stage boxes on pallets.

Marginal Job Functions

• Assist other personnel as time and knowledge permit.
• Participate in training and meetings as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to stand over a 10-hours period.
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 25 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to work both planned and unplanned overtime.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Must be able to work professionally as part of a team with other department employees.
• Must be able to comprehend and perform duties using established work and safety procedures.
• Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Must perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workloads.
