The Sales Specialist Services role provides customer service and sales support for the Marine and Transportation business. This position coordinates customer orders, tracks deliveries, supports pricing and invoicing activities, and serves as a liaison between customers, sales teams, stores, and supply chain partners. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate order fulfillment, resolving service-related issues, managing inventory inquiries, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through timely communication and operational support.

Additional Information:

This role is not remote/hybrid. This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Branch, TX Houston Commercial 704381 located at 1320 W Pasadena Freeway Frontage,Pasadena, TX 77506-1022.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised.   • Support the MSC Customer Service Manager by assisting with order coordination, customer communication, delivery documentation, invoice support, and issue resolution related to the MSC global supply contract(N3220524R4094).
  • Receive, accept, and provide updates on Purchase Orders received through customer specific ordering platform. Some customers have their own procurement systems that must be logged into in order to do business with the customer.
  • Send orders to the servicing store or to the AOM inside customer service team for execution. Be included on initial order to the servicing store and be copied on the communication. The order should include a request for the servicing store to confirm both material availability and the ability to meet the requested delivery date. Follow up by the end of the day to ensure the order will be delivered in full and on time.

  • Contact stores with available inventory, verify shelf life, and communicate findings to sales reps as necessary
  • When the servicing store cannot fulfill the order completely or meet the delivery timeline, conduct a nationwide search for the required materials. Communicate with the rep, customer and store.
  • Maintain customer service quality, order accuracy and efficiency with orders

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.)
  • Must be willing to travel as required for this position.
  • Must have a High school diploma or GED.
  • Must have one (1) year of experience in customer service, sales support, order management, logistics coordination, or contract administration.
  • Must have one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and/or Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have a bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Have one (1) year of intermediate understanding of P&M portfolio and industry experience.
  • Have software experience in MicoStrategy, Microsfot Access, SalesForce or My Paint Connection
  • Have three (3) years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, Tableau or similar BI tools.
  • Have three (3) years of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and/or Outlook).
