Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Job Duties

• Utilizing email, Microsoft Teams, phone calls, and in-person conversations to manage business communications and address relevant issues, including but not limited to export shipments.
• Scheduling pickups for the ocean export shipment
• Booking the ocean export shipment with the ocean carriers and co-loaders
• Creating and correcting the ocean bill of lading and related required documents
• Issuing freight invoices for the ocean export shipments
• Sending pre-alerts to customers and overseas offices
• Completing all required internal and external training programs.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Additional customer service, business, or office training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide professional, courteous, and solution-focused customer service.
• Experience using computers, business software, and data entry systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to professionalism, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service, call center, retail, office support, or administrative experience is preferred.
• Experience working with CRM software, order processing systems, or customer databases is beneficial.
• Bilingual communication skills may be considered an asset depending on the position.
• Individuals who demonstrate patience, professionalism, adaptability, and excellent communication skills are well positioned for success as a Ocean Export Operations Agent.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to remain seated or stand for extended periods while assisting customers.
• Frequent use of computers, telephones, and standard office equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and business partners.
• Ability to perform repetitive keyboard and data entry tasks throughout the workday.
