Job Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Select appropriate materials based on job specifications.
• Operate horizontal, vertical, and/or circular saws to cut materials to specified dimensions.
• Measure materials using tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Inspect finished cuts to ensure they meet required dimensions and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and notify supervisors when materials need to be replenished.
• Properly identify, label, move, and store materials.
• Set up and adjust saw equipment as required for different jobs.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and proper machine-operation procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate with supervisors and other production employees regarding job requirements and material needs.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience
• Steel-toes
