Job summary

The Shipping Associate is responsible for accurately storing products in the warehouse and preparing orders for shipment to customer sites following established processes. This role involves labeling and metering packages using various freight systems and processing orders through the ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate storage of products in the warehouse
• Prepare orders for shipping according to process
• Label and meter packages with various freight systems
• Process orders using the ERP system
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment within the warehouse
• Perform daily preparations for the following day's shipping activities
• Support divisional initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma required

Additional Details

• Dress code: Closed-toe shoes and long pants must be worn at all times; shorts are not allowed
• Pants must be worn at waist level with no visible undergarments
• Hats of any type are prohibited
• Hooded sweatshirts are allowed but hoods must remain down
• Tank tops or cutoff shirts are prohibited
• Shirts with offensive slogans, pictures, words, or images are prohibited
• Sunglasses are not allowed on the distribution center floor
