Position Title: Junior Systems Administrator
Location: Panama City, FL

Position Summary
ISPA Technology is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to join our team in Panama City, FL. This position will support the administration, maintenance, patching, and security of Windows and Linux systems in a DoD environment. The ideal candidate has foundational experience with Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and basic scripting or automation and is eager to grow their technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the administration and troubleshooting of Windows Server, RHEL 8/9, VMware virtual machines, and related infrastructure.
- Assist with operating system and application patching, security updates, and vulnerability remediation.
- Use or develop basic scripts with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible to support routine system administration tasks.
- Test patches and configuration changes in lab or staging environments before deployment.
- Assist with system hardening and vulnerability remediation using tools such as ACAS/Nessus, SCAP, STIG Viewer, and DoD STIGs.
- Support software and patch deployment using tools such as Red Hat Satellite and SCCM/MECM.
- Maintain system documentation, procedures, and configuration records.
- Assist senior administrators with troubleshooting, system maintenance, and technical support activities.
Required Qualifications
- Foundational experience or training with Windows Server and/or Linux systems.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
- Basic knowledge of scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible.
- Basic understanding of system administration, patching, troubleshooting, and software installation.
- Active Secret security clearance.
