As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol 40 Caliber Endorsement in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional assistance to passengers and staff. Pay Rate: $23.81 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at public transportation facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, platforms, parking areas, transit vehicles, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and coordinating with emergency responders when appropriate.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized access, disruptive conduct, theft, vandalism, and other prohibited activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and activity logs, and maintain required qualifications and equipment in accordance with applicable laws, client policies, and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least one year of armed guard, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a 40 caliber endorsement.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
