JOB SUMMARY:

The Director, Vendor Management Office & Analytics leads Claritev's enterprise vendor management strategy and the enterprise Procurement analytics function. The role establishes scalable frameworks across vendor lifecycle management, client consent lifecycle, vendor contract management, vendor risk, and end-to-end Procurement analytics spanning sourcing, spend, buying, invoicing, supplier performance, risk, compliance, and operational effectiveness. The Director is a trusted, data-driven partner who strengthens governance, standardizes processes, and delivers insights that drive measurable business value and internal client satisfaction.

This leader oversees the processes, technology, governance, and analytics that support vendor lifecycle management and Procurement operations across the enterprise, ensuring compliance, data integrity, and consistent execution. The Director partners with cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into operating models, controls, performance measures, and analytics that strengthen vendor performance, risk oversight, contract visibility, spend management, and operational performance.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead the Vendor Management Office & Analytics strategy, governance model, and operating standards across the enterprise vendor lifecycle and Procurement function.
  2. Direct vendor lifecycle management processes, including vendor qualification, due diligence, activation, maintenance, performance oversight, and offboarding.
  3. Oversee and continuously improve the Client Consent Lifecycle, by establishing processes and controls to document, route, monitor, renew, and report on vendor access to client data and related approvals.
  4. Lead vendor contract management governance, including contract intake, workspace administration, metadata quality, obligation tracking, expiration management, renewals, and repository completeness.
  5. Establish and maintain a vendor risk management framework that supports consistent assessment, monitoring, escalation, and remediation across financial, legal, operational, environmental, security, privacy, and other applicable risk areas.
  6. Drive SAP Ariba and related platform enhancements by developing and managing the roadmap, identifying automation opportunities, and improving vendor management workflows and controls.
  7. Design and maintain vendor lifecycle workflows, questionnaires, profiles, approval routing, and governance controls to support standardized vendor management.
  8. Own the enterprise Procurement analytics strategy, roadmap, and governance, including common data definitions, reporting standards, dashboard priorities, and integration across SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, Power BI, and other relevant platforms.
  9. Lead executive and operational dashboards across sourcing, spend, requisition and purchase-order performance, invoice automation, payment terms, contracts, vendor lifecycle, client consent, vendor risk, compliance, and service levels.
  10. Establish Procurement KPIs, targets, scorecards, and trend analysis to monitor performance, prioritize improvements, and measure business value.
  11. Analyze Procurement, operational, and vendor trends to support sourcing excellence, working-capital initiatives, process optimization, risk mitigation, and informed decisions.
  12. Support Procurement and business stakeholders with trusted data, forecasting, performance measurement, and governance reporting.
  13. Establish and maintain best practices, enterprise standards, and SOPs for vendor management, Client Consent Lifecycle, vendor contract management, vendor risk, and analyitcs.
  14. Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements that strengthen vendor data integrity, streamline governance workflows, and enhance Procurement's operational effectiveness.
  15. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  16. Demonstrate Claritev's Core Competencies and values.

JOB SCOPE:

This role operates with significant autonomy and enterprise-wide influence. The Director shapes Claritev's Vendor Management Office & Analytics strategy and governs vendor lifecycle management, Client Consent Lifecycle, vendor contract management, vendor risk, and enterprise Procurement analytics. The role makes decisions affecting vendor governance, data quality, risk visibility, contract oversight, spend management, Procurement performance measurement, and system configuration; will oversee staff; and serves as a subject matter expert for vendor management, Procurement data, and procurement systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in vendor management, procurement operations, enterprise Procurement analytics, contract management, vendor risk, or related leadership roles.
  • Strong expertise in SAP Ariba (Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, Vendor Management, Sourcing, Contracts, or Procure-to-Pay modules).
  • Experience leading enterprise vendor management, Client Consent Lifecycle, vendor contract management, vendor risk, or enterprise Procurement analytics and reporting programs.
  • Advanced analytical, data management, and data-driven problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate Procurement data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, communicate clearly, manage competing priorities, and lead cross-functional change through data.
  • Individual in this position must be able to work in a standard office environment, including extended periods of computer use and operation of typical office equipment.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $140k-$150k. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
