Group/Division

The KLA Services team consists of Service Sales, Marketing, Spares Supply Chain Management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, Digital Solutions and Analytics, and Technical Product Support. Our services organization maximizes the value of our customers' KLA assets - with highly trained service and product support engineers providing installation services and 24/7 technical support and parts delivery through our extensive supply chain network.

Preferred Qualifications

KLA is looking for a highly skilled Technical Trainer to join our team and play a key role in supporting training across EBEAM products. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with the ability to develop and deliver impactful training that enables global field teams to succeed.

As a Technical Trainer, you will collaborate closely with senior instructors, engineering teams, and field support partners to build your expertise on advanced semiconductor tools. You'll take ownership of developing training programs, creating engaging learning content, and delivering high-quality training to field service engineers and customers worldwide.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and deliver technical training on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced tools

  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and field teams to build deep product expertise

  • Create and continuously improve training materials, including presentations, videos, and digital learning modules

  • Lead training projects, including planning, stakeholder alignment, and progress tracking

  • Translate complex technical documentation into clear, structured, and engaging training content

  • Support hands-on activities such as tool builds, installs, upgrades, and field support to stay current on product changes

  • Review and validate service procedures and drive improvements to documentation

  • Leverage modern tools (e.g., virtual learning, simulations, AR) to enhance training delivery

  • Travel of 20-30% is required

  • Experience with semiconductor equipment

  • Background in installation, service, manufacturing, or technical support on complex tools

  • Prior experience delivering training or mentoring engineers (formal or informal)

Total Rewards

Base Pay Range: $28.23 - $41.00 Per Hour Primary Location: USA-AZ-Phoenix-KLA
