Manager Fitness Facility - Fitness Center

Summary:

Uses management processes to plan, organize, staff, direct, and evaluate the services of a quality fitness center. Other duties include reporting progress and effectiveness of programs to supervisor, assist in preparing budgets for fiscal responsibility, and coordinating various marketing and promotional efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Establishes annual department goals and objectives
• Staff is guided to select personal goals that parallel department goals
• Participates in budget development/management
• Responsible and accountable for interviewing, counseling, scheduling, and performance evaluation of department staff
• Assures availability, readiness, safety, and cost-effective use of equipment and supplies
• Able to prioritize and organize needs/demands of time
• Delegates appropriately and effectively
• Practices management techniques to strengthen autonomy of staff
• Serves as a role model
• Attends required hospital meetings and ensures that staff is current on hospital obligations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree

Work Schedule:

8AM - 5PM Monday-Friday
