Pay Range USD $75,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr. Overview Division V at Clarkson University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Engineering Science to support an expanded undergraduate teaching need across the Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Aeronautical Engineering (AE) programs. The successful candidate will teach four course sections per academic year, including one or two sections of ES260 (Materials Science), ES330 (Fluid Mechanics), and ES340 (Thermodynamics). Responsibilities Teaching Responsibilities Student Support & Advising Curriculum & Program Engagement Departmental & University Service Operational & Professional Responsibilities Qualifications Education Preferred Qualifications: PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Science, or a closely related field; prior university-level teaching experience. Experience Essential Skills * Strong foundation in core engineering science fundamentals, including materials science, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
