Title: Expeditor
Location: ON-Site in Columbia, MD Industry: Aerospace / Electronics / Manufacturing / DOD Pay/Duration: $22-$26 per hour / 12 months contract to potential direct hire Works in conjunction with the Buyers to monitor, control coordinate and expedite as necessary the delivery of materials ordered. The primary function is to unsure that delivery of material is consistent with the end users need and to report; on variances so that appropriate work around can be establish. Confer with engineering, technical or manufacturing personnel Interacting With Computers - Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to enter data, or process information. Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work - Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work. Contacts vendors and obtains information regarding delivery, material availability, shipping conformation and mode of transportation Updates the on-line Purchase Order with appropriate will ship information Notifies the Buyer and Planner of any variances that would impact the schedule Reviews the daily Receiving Report and updates files accordingly Assists in resolving non-receivable material problems The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
