Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Additional customer service, business, or office training is beneficial.

• Knowledge of health and dental insurance benefits, including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance
• Medical or dental office experience preferred
• Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and handle high call volumes

• Answer incoming calls from providers and health plan members
• Assist with benefit, eligibility, claim payment, and coverage questions
• Research and resolve inquiries accurately and professionally
• Document customer interactions and maintain detailed records
• Perform data entry and administrative tasks as needed
• Deliver exceptional customer service on every call

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to remain seated or stand for extended periods while assisting customers.
• Frequent use of computers, telephones, and standard office equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and business partners.
• Ability to perform repetitive keyboard and data entry tasks throughout the workday.
