Shift: 2 / 2 / 3 Schedule (6 AM - 6 PM)

Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year in manufacturing
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely climb up and down stairs frequently throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift 5-30 pounds.


Job Duties



  • Operate corrugating and box-making equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Keep all production machines fully stocked with the correct cardboard boxes to prevent downtime.
  • Adjust adhesive settings on the box-making machine according to box size and production specifications.
  • Monitor equipment performance and promptly clear jams or minor machine stoppages.
  • Manually assemble corrugated boxes when required to meet production demands.
  • Coordinate with machine operators and production leads to prepare upcoming work orders and ensure the correct box sizes and quantities are available.
  • Inspect finished boxes for quality, accuracy, and proper assembly.
  • Perform routine machine checks and report equipment issues to the supervisor or maintenance department.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area by performing daily housekeeping tasks.
