Requisition ID req37335 Working Title HS/Associate Scientist 1 Position Grade 12 Position Summary This is a laboratory-based, HS/Associate Scientist 1 position in an environmental toxicology research laboratory in the UNM-Department of Pathology, School of Medicine. The lab does a mix of pre-clinical, in vitro and clinical laboratory-based science. The successful candidate will be responsible for assuming a technical expert role in the laboratory to regularly conduct experiments and generate data as well as assist trainees and lab members with their experiments. Must be a self-starter, productive, independent, motivated and a team-player. There may be occasional (<10% FTE) opportunities for travel to rural communities for research purposes. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. Contract will renew on an annual basis after June 30, each year, contingent on job performance and available funding. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
