The Department of Medicine at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital (JHACH) is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our nationally recognized team. This physician will be a member of the Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Department of Medicine while serving primarily at our new Wesley Chapel campus, located approximately 50 miles from the St. Petersburg campus and one of the fastest growing communities in the Tampa Bay region.



Highlights include:



  • Join the founding team of Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Wesley Chapel, a new 56-bed pediatric hospital currently under construction and expected to open in 2027.
  • The hospital will offer a comprehensive range of pediatric inpatient and specialty services, expanding access to world-class pediatric care in Pasco County and surrounding communities.
  • This position will be dedicated to the Wesley Chapel location.
  • JHACH currently has a strong physician presence in Pasco County with additional expansion underway in a number of pediatric specialties.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Deliver Exceptional Patient Care: Provide comprehensive inpatient pediatric care, including the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of a diverse pediatric patient population.
  • Collaborate with a High-Performing Team: Work alongside experienced pediatric hospitalists, advanced practice providers, nursing professionals, and support staff in a collegial and patient-centered environment.
  • Access to Pediatric Specialty Expertise: Partner with a broad network of pediatric subspecialists across the Johns Hopkins All Children's system to ensure coordinated, evidence-based care for patients with both common and complex conditions.



Qualifications:



  • Completion of an ACGME Accredited Pediatric Residency
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Florida
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and patient-centered care
  • Flexibility to participate in a rotating schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and call responsibilities as required by the Wesley Chapel program
