Position Details:
Mercy Hospital Joplin, a major regional referral center serving more than 500,000 people across four states, is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead clinical strategy, quality improvement, physician engagement, and operational excellence. This executive leadership role is instrumental in advancing Mercy's mission of delivering exceptional, compassionate care while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. Position Overview The Chief Medical Officer serves as the senior physician executive for Mercy Hospital Joplin and works closely with hospital leadership, physicians, and caregivers to ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. The CMO is responsible for advancing clinical excellence, improving quality outcomes, promoting patient safety, and strengthening physician engagement throughout the organization.
