Job Summary GENERAL SUMMARY:The Clinical Research Coordinator II will support research and communications activities within RecoveryWorks. Will work closely with the principal investigator and team on a longitudinal research study evaluating the efficacy of the RecoveryWorks program, while also supporting the program's communications and outreach through website maintenance and social media management. Will coordinate a broad range of research activities, including participant recruitment, enrollment, retention, and longitudinal follow-up; regulatory correspondence with the Institutional Review Board (IRB); study data management and quality assurance; and assistance with project administration and finances. Will also maintain the RecoveryWorks website, developing and scheduling social media content, and supporting dissemination of program activities and research findings to a broad audience. Work effectively on an established multidisciplinary team of faculty and research staff at MGH. Engage in training and ongoing mentorship across all aspects of the role. Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and comfortable balancing research coordination with digital communications responsibilities. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Clinical Research Coordinator II will support a longitudinal evaluation of the RecoveryWorks program and will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of day-to-day study operations under the supervision of the Principal Investigator. Responsibilities include: *Coordinate participant enrollment, informed consent, and longitudinal follow-up assessments. *Maintain regular communication with study participants to maximize retention and completion of follow-up visits. *Collect, enter, verify, and manage study data using REDCap and other research databases while ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance. *Maintain study records, regulatory binders, and essential study documentation. *Prepare and submit Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications, amendments, continuing reviews, and other regulatory documents. *Assist with quality assurance and quality control procedures, including routine data validation and protocol compliance monitoring. *Schedule study visits, administer study questionnaires, document research procedures, and maintain accurate study records. *Assist with study budgets, purchasing, participant payments, and other project administrative activities. *Prepare study reports, recruitment summaries, and progress updates for the investigative team. *Conduct literature searches and assist with preparation of presentations, manuscripts, and other dissemination activities. *Work collaboratively with investigators, research staff, and collaborators to ensure efficient study operations. In addition to research coordination responsibilities, the Research Coordinator II will support RecoveryWorks' communications and public engagement efforts by: *Maintaining and updating the RecoveryWorks website using the program's content management system. *Developing, scheduling, and publishing content across RecoveryWorks social media platforms. *Creating engaging digital content to communicate research findings, educational resources, program updates, and events to diverse audiences. *Monitoring website and social media analytics and assisting with strategies to increase engagement and program visibility. *Ensuring that website and social media content is accurate, current, and aligned with Massachusetts General Hospital branding and communication guidelines.
