As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in ensuring that patients receive their necessary medications accurately and efficiently. This position offers a dynamic environment where you contribute directly to patient care by processing prescriptions, resolving critical issues, and supporting the smooth flow of operations. Your efforts will directly enhance our ability to serve the community and uphold the highest standards of healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities



  • Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and conducting outreach to members and physicians.
  • Accurately enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.
  • Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member concerns.
  • Escalate questions regarding prescriptions to a Pharmacist for interpretation or guidance on processing.
  • Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls, providing professional and helpful support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the pharmacy fulfillment system.


Must-Have Qualifications



  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state of operation.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work the following shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 5:00am - 3:00pm.
  • Must possess a valid pharmacy license or trainee license.


Compensation

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $16.50 to $17.50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
