Role Description We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of User Experience Design to lead the Salesforce Developer Experience (DX) Design team. In this high-impact leadership role, you will define and execute the end-to-end design strategy for Salesforce's suite of professional developer tools. You will oversee the user experience for game-changing innovations like Agentforce Vibes-our next-generation AI-driven developer canvas and agentic coding assistant-alongside core platform tools including Salesforce DX (SFDX), IDE extensions (VS Code/Code Builder), Lightning Web Components (LWC) tooling, Command Line Interfaces (CLI), and CI/CD developer workflows and tools. You will manage and grow a world-class team of DX-focused Product Designers and Design Engineers. You will partner closely with Platform Product Management, Software Engineering, Architecture, and Technical Content teams to turn complex technical workflows into elegant, intuitive, and performant developer tools. The typical base salary range for this position is $197,300 - $313,700 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $237,700 - $344,700 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable. | |
