The Role: The Associate Vice President (AVP), Brand and Creative is accountable for defining and leading the enterprise-wide creative strategy, execution, and operating model across Providence. This role establishes the standards, priorities, and direction for how the organization's brand is expressed across multiple business lines, markets, regions, divisions and consumer-facing channels. Reporting to the SVP Chief Marketing Officer Digital Experience, this role ensures consistent, differentiated, and high-quality creative execution that drives measurable impact on enterprise growth, consumer trust, and brand equity. The AVP leads a distributed creative ecosystem spanning internal teams, agency partners, and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment to enterprise strategy and operational priorities. This leader holds enterprise accountability for creative investment decisions, including agency spend, production resources, and prioritization frameworks, ensuring resources are deployed toward the highest-impact initiatives. The role carries enterprise decision-making authority for creative standards, brand expression, and campaign direction, including tradeoff decisions that influence organizational reputation, regulatory risk, and business outcomes. The full pay range is listed in accordance with applicable law. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, organizational compensation alignment, and the approved hiring department budget for the position. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation and benefits. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
