Description This is a working supervisor position that supervises and facilitates day-to-day work of the Diagnostic Imaging (DI) general radiography staff. Responsible for communication with radiologists, other physicians, Diagnostic Imaging director and managers, patients, families, and others. Conducts and performs procedures in the technical area assigned. Contributes to the successful attainment of the department goals and objectives; provides input for budget planning and the review/revision/creation of policies and procedures for their area. The DI Supervisor for imaging will provide recommendations to the manager regarding modification and implementation of policy and procedures, work methods, and strategies in their work area. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
