As a Security Officer Full Time Access in WINCHESTER, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional, welcoming atmosphere. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential checks, and other security-related policies.
• Monitor entry and exit activity at assigned access points, verify identification and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Document visitor, contractor, and/or shipment activity in required logs and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, loading and receiving areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
