JOB FUNCTION:
Supervises production employees in the fabrication and processing of Aerospace Transparency material and parts.

REQUIREMENTS:
Technical knowledge related to the field of manufacturing, whether Aerospace, Automative, or equivalent, experience in value of safe workplace management, management including human resources and labor relations, effective leadership and supervision of multiple support functions and staff operating in a team concept.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The function of the Production Supervisor is to support the Client corporate initiative to accomplish the goals of the business unit. Primarily the job function is responsible in the manufacturing environment to develop and maintain the day-to-day activities in production and supervision of the staff involved in manufacturing product efficiently and of the highest quality to meet our customers' expectations. The Production Supervisor is responsible for assuring that the department staff has the tools and resources needed to perform the functions of daily production. Executes daily production targets, manages timecards daily, drive productivity goals and engagement objectives.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree AND 2 years minimum of experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment OR High School Diploma/GED AND 5 years minimum of experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment.

* Identifies Recommends proper staffing levels based on production needs.
* Monitors and controls cost of manufacturing, including material usage and overtime
* Maintains employee records
* Reviews workmanship and handling related problems.
* Recognizes and addresses process problems
* Assures proper maintenance of equipment and tooling.
* Ensure necessary supplies and tools are provided
* Supervises accurate and timely reporting of WIP movement.
* Maintains inventory control and accuracy
* Understands lean manufacturing and SPC principles and their application in production.
* Provides production assistance to support groups
* Be flexible to drive on-time execution
* Other tasks, as needed.
