As the Director, K-12 Staffing, you'll lead business development efforts, build long-term partnerships with school districts, and help shape the future of our education staffing services. What You'll Do
Drive Business Growth
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for K-12 staffing services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with school districts and educational organizations.
- Meet and exceed sales goals, KPIs, and territory objectives.
- Analyze market trends and forecast growth opportunities.
- Partner with Marketing to develop effective client outreach campaigns.
- Lead proposal development, pricing strategies, and RFP responses.
- Manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM reporting.
- Represent the organization at conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
Build Strong Client Partnerships
- Support client onboarding and implementation.
- Serve as a primary or backup account manager when needed.
- Resolve escalated client issues while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Collaborate with account managers to develop annual hiring forecasts.
- Build lasting relationships with school leaders and district decision-makers.
- Review client agreements and monitor client satisfaction and retention metrics.
- Represent the company during client meetings and industry events.
Lead Operational Excellence
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development as the division grows.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics and accountability measures.
- Develop scalable systems and operational processes that support growth.
- Lead change management initiatives and continuous process improvement.
- Support talent development, onboarding, and retention initiatives across the division.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of business development experience in staffing, healthcare, education, or a related industry.
- Experience with consultative, long-cycle B2B sales.
- Strong background in contract negotiations and responding to RFPs.
- Understanding of K-12 staffing models and special education services is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with federal and state education regulations, including special education compliance, is strongly preferred.
- Experience using CRM and ATS platforms to manage sales pipelines and client relationships.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive results.
