Job Description
The Opportunity The Matriculation and Retention Advisor is responsible for executing Matriculation and Status Break (Retention) outreach programs. Reporting to the Director, Matriculation Advisement within Worldwide Student Success Operations, this role delivers high-quality student support services to promote student success, academic achievement, and retention. The Advisor works collaboratively with other Advisors, Site Advisors, and Site Directors to meet matriculation and retention goals, with a focus on non-matriculated and status break student outreach initiatives. This position conducts detailed analysis of student academic records and provides academic advisement related to degree requirements, curriculum, academic policies, procedures, transfer credit, advanced standing, graduation requirements, and interpretation of the Official Advising Report. The role also promotes institutional aid initiatives and scholarship opportunities for eligible students. The Matriculation and Retention Advisor requires independent judgment and decision-making in assessing and resolving student issues. The role gathers and analyzes student data and trends related to retention and academic success. Communication with students is conducted via phone, email, text, and chat to encourage enrollment, persistence, and retention while maintaining a high level of customer service. Compensation The annual salary range for this role is $43,888-$50,000. The final offer will be based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs, and may fall outside of the stated range. Required Education:
