About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will support patients and healthcare providers by managing order entry, verifying insurance, and ensuring accurate documentation for billing. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, problem-solving, and working in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities * Enter and process sales orders accurately and efficiently * Verify insurance information and ensure proper documentation is complete for billing * Review prescriptions and supporting chart notes; follow up with physicians as needed * Provide direct patient support, including OTC sales of medical equipment and accessories * Dispense equipment such as walkers, bath safety items, mobility aids, and orthopedic supports * Educate patients on proper use of equipment and supplies * Perform data entry of patient demographics and order information * Unpack incoming shipments (including pallet deliveries) and stock inventory * Assemble basic medical equipment as needed * Support overall front-end operations and maintain a high level of customer service On-Call Rotation * Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately 3-4 days per month, including holidays) * Receive additional compensation for on-call responsibilities: * $30 (weekdays) * $100 (Saturdays) * $75 (Sundays) * Quarterly scheduling allows for advance planning; shift swaps are permitted when available Required Skills & Qualifications * Strong customer service and interpersonal skills * Experience in customer-facing roles (healthcare or retail preferred) * Accurate and efficient data entry skills (typing test required) * High attention to detail and organizational skills * Dependable, punctual, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Ability to lift up to 35 pounds Work Environment * Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM * On-call rotation required after training * Fast-paced, high-volume environment with a strong focus on patient interaction and multitasking Why Join Us? * Be part of a collaborative and supportive team * Gain hands-on experience in healthcare operations and patient support * Opportunity to grow within a stable and essential industry * Play a direct role in improving patient care and experience Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
