AI Service Designer Washington DC / Remote Pay from $150,000/yr MUST : Experience Service Designer working with AI Ecosystems Eligible for high level public trust 5+ years of experience leading service design and product strategy in AI - including Large Language Models (LLMs) Proven track record of tying design interventions to hard business metrics (revenue, retention, efficiency) Deep, practical understanding of generative AI capabilities, agentic design principles, conversational UI, multi-modal interfaces, and backend operational cost structures Strong Data driven acumen with the ability to balance qualitative user insights with quantitative business analytics to prioritize high-impact design changes Exceptional facilitation skills with a track record of driving cross-functional alignment across engineering, product, and operations Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Strong Customer facing - both customer service and presentation ability Strong problem solving skills Strong Documentation skills Related certifications are a plus Bachelor's Degree is preferred DUTIES: Be a part of building an environment for Government to integrate AI operations in a safe and productive manner, providing quantifiable evidence that improved production, efficiency and action time while lowering cost and minimize risk and blowback and accelerating business operations The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing a highly efficient service blueprints identify and strategically deploy autonomous AI agents to automate high-volume, low-complexity tasks, significantly lowering operational overhead (help show and identify ROI for client) Build reusable frameworks and tooling that allow product managers and operations teams to evaluate the service implications of AI prior to code deployment Help quantify cost savings and proven decrease in customer support operational costs through optimized hybrid routing Reduction in total resolution time for complex issues through seamless AI-to-human handoffs Take into account designing safety measures to avoid significant last and churn and ensure a fallback and de-escalation plan Utilize advanced GenAI synthesis and simulation tools to shrink traditional research-to-prototype design cycles by 40%, lowering R&D costs and enabling faster market deployment of AI features Proactively design for probabilistic technology; build robust routing mechanisms and safety nets for when an AI model hallucinates or gets stuck Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
