Position Summary

Reporting to the Tax Liaison Manager, the Tax Liaison will be responsible for performing tax and administrative functions to aid the tax professionals in the preparation of tax returns, communications with clients, and other tax essential tasks.

What will you do in this role?

  • Oversee facilitation of file sharing with our offshore resources.
  • Act as go-to person for tasks such as forwarding client emails or missing documents (save to Caseware and notify preparer).
  • Save K1's to Caseware files.
  • Assist with NCAF preparation.
  • Support and coordinate billing function on behalf of Technical staff.
  • Create and run Hub reporting for Tax Leads.
  • Assist with scheduling client appointments.
  • Contact clients on CSRs' behalf (reminders, missing items, scheduling meetings, etc.).
  • Follow up with clients requesting 8879's efile forms.
  • Assist in saving information to client files including communicating with the tax professionals.
  • Assist in collecting and organizing electronic client information in an efficient and usable format.
  • Collaborate with tax professionals on an as-needed basis to manage and respond to client requests for information.
  • Support staff members in the tax department with client management demand, as needs arise.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • High School diploma, required; bachelor's degree, preferred
  • Three (3) plus years of relevant experience within a tax practice
  • Serve as a dependable and trustworthy contributor to the team.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and assess priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally engage with clients and collaborate effectively with team members
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $60,000.This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
