Description

Job Responsibilities



  • Operates complex machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).


  • Oversees setups on basic machinery and production lines.


  • Sets up machines and adjusts settings for various production tasks.


  • Monitors production processes and performs quality checks.


  • Conducts minor repairs and preventive maintenance.


  • Trains and mentors entry-level machine operators.


  • Documents production metrics and reports discrepancies.


  • Ensures compliance with safety and operational standards.


  • May perform other duties as assigned.


Job Skills Requirements



  • Proficient in operating various types of machinery.


  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.


  • Ability to interpret technical documents and schematics.


  • Good communication and leadership skills.


  • Ability to work in a team environment.


  • Computer skills including ERP systems.


  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location.


Educational Requirements



  • High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience required.


Experience Requirements



  • Three years of previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred but not required.


Certifications



  • Machine Operation or related field a plus


Physical & Environmental Requirements



  • Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material.


  • Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).


  • Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).


  • Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).


  • May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
