As a member of the Covestro Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Group, this position supports regional HSE functions and services as the HSE Electronic Record System Administrator for Medical, Safety, Environmental, and Industrial Hygiene suites. The role oversees regional Occupational Health functionality and compliance, co-manages the company's Wellness Program, monitors national medical vendor relationships and associated contracts, and holds budgetary oversight responsibilities. This position ensures a consistent approach across US sites to minimize risk while optimizing efficiency.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the Cority HES Electronic Medical Record platform as a Proficient/Expert Systems Administrator, managing configurations, security, regulatory updates, integrations, and user access to ensure data integrity and operational continuity across all US sites, including MOC development, test plans, process flows, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and daily monitoring.
  • Manage occupational health functionality and regulatory compliance across regional sites, serving as the primary liaison between external occupational health vendors and internal stakeholders - including Clinicians, Procurement, Regional Site Managers, and Safety - to minimize risk and ensure consistent service delivery in alignment with OSHA, DOT, NIOSH, ANSI, ACGIH, and GDPR requirements.
  • Co-manage the myTotal Wellbeing Program (MTWB) to drive employee participation in health incentive activities, ensuring accurate vendor reporting, activity tracking, and program performance metrics.
  • Monitor national medical vendor relationships, associated contracts, and budgetary responsibilities - including PO/EUR documentation, AP coordination, and contract negotiations with Procurement - to optimize cost efficiency and ensure service quality across Covestro Health Services.
  • Maintain active certifications in DOT urine and hair sample collections, NIOSH Spirometry, CAOHC, and BLS/CPR/First Aid to ensure workforce readiness, regulatory adherence, and the ability to train clinicians in compliance requirements.
  • Supervise a small team of vendor-managed contracted administrative support personnel to ensure service quality and operational continuity within Covestro Health Services.
  • Provide clinical and front office backup support at the Pittsburgh Clinic and Emergency Response Team (ERT) coverage, including blood draws, spirometry, audiometric testing, drug screening, triage, and scheduling, to ensure uninterrupted occupational health service delivery as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in a quality or Medical/HSE field; OR Associates with 6+ years of relevant experience in a quality or Medical/HSE field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant HSE experience
  • DOT Collections certification
  • NIOSH Spirometry certification and CAOHC certification.
  • BLS/CPR First Aid certification.
  • Occupational Health Experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, DOT, and other regulatory bodies in General Industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, FIORI, SharePoint, LCM, and Converge
  • Proficient in Project Management
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage tasks, time, and business commitments under pressure.
